ARE YOU EXPERIENCING
Most people have or will experience a headache at some point in their lives. Headaches can range from a mild, dull ache to severe, throbbing pain accompanied by nausea. The location and type of pain you're feeling are a good indication of the type of headache you are experiencing. Recurring headaches are a sign that something is wrong and should not be ignored. Chiropractic adjustments can improve acute and chronic neck pain which can in turn reduce the intensity and frequency of headaches. Types of Headaches: Migraines Cervicogenic Headaches Tension headaches Sinus headaches
HEADACHES & MIGRAINES
Injuries and imbalances can cause cervical vertebrae to move out of their correct position. Tendons, ligaments and muscles can become inflamed and worn out, the discs separating the cervical vertebrae can herniate or rupture and the nerves can be damaged or irritated from the misalignment. Arthritic changes in the spinal bones such as abnormal bony growth, disc degeneration, and muscle or ligament deterioration may change the normal healthy curve of the neck and result in irritation of the nerves in the spine. Problems of the neck if left untreated can lead to pain symptoms experienced in the face, shoulder arm, wrist and hand as well as decreased motion.
NECK PAIN
A common cause of low back pain can be problems with the disc, the fibrous cushion between each vertebra. A bulging or ruptured disc can irritate nerves that travel from the spinal cord which may lead to leg pain, numbness, tingling or weakness in the legs. Low back problems are more common in people who are in poor physical condition and those with jobs that include heavy lifting, long periods of sitting, standing or lots of bending. A chiropractic approach to treating low back pain is to find the source of the back pain and correct it, not just treat the symptom; this ensures that the body can heal naturally. Low back pain often responds dramatically to the correction of vertebrae positioning and the restoration of normal motion.
LOWER BACK PAIN
Contrary to popular belief, disc problems only contribute to a small portion of the causes of back pain and rarely require surgery for relief. Spinal discs are jelly-like substances that are located between two vertebrae and act like shock absorption, protect the spinal cord and ensure flexibility of the spine. A disc bulge results from slight tears in the outermost fibers of the annulus fibrosus. These small tears can be painful but do not typically last long. A disc protrusion/extrusion, or "herniation", is a more significant injury. It results from a complete or significant tear of the fibers of the annulus, when some of the nucleus leaks through. A herniation is usually painful and can also cause nerve compression. In the most severe cases, spinal cord compression can occur.
HERNIATED DISCS
Carpal tunnel syndrome develops when tissues in the wrist squeeze or compress the median nerve, this nerve starts in your cervical spine (neck) and travels all the way down your arm and through a narrow passageway in your wrist, known as the carpal tunnel. The syndrome causes pain, numbness and tingling in your arm or hand and are usually worse on the thumb side of the hand. Sometimes carpal tunnel syndrome causes shock-like sensations to your thumb, index, middle and sometimes ring fingers. Weakness associated with carpal tunnel can make it difficult to grasp objects or perform fine movements.
CARPAL TUNNEL
Bursitis is inflammation or irritation to the bursa (small sacs between bone and other moving parts, such as skin, muscles and tendons). Tendonitis is inflammation or irritation of the tendon (thick fibrous cords that connects muscles to bone). Symptoms of bursitis and tendonitis are similar and include inflamed soft tissues that replicate symptoms of joint pain. With these conditions, pain and stiffness often intensifies with movement. Neither condition will cause deformity but can limit range of motion.
BURSITIS/TENDONITIS
Inflammation or irritation of a thick band of tissue that runs across the arch of each foot and connects the heel bone to the toes. Plantar fasciitis commonly causes stabbing pain that usually occurs with your first steps in the morning. As you get up and move, the pain normally decreases, but it may return after long periods of standing or when standing up after sitting.
PLANTAR FASCIITIS
During pregnancy, a woman's center of gravity shifts to the front of her pelvis, resulting in added stress and discomfort in the lower back and various joints of the pelvis. At the peak of pregnancy, the curve in the lower back can increase to the point of causing serious impact on the vertebral joints, the sacrum and hip joints. Prenatal chiropractic care helps moms body to adapt to the constant changes while also relieving low back pain, sciatica, round ligament syndrome, headaches, pub symphysis dysfunction and more. When the pelvis is aligned, and tension is released, the baby is given more space to freely move through the birthing canal allowing a smoother birthing process.
PREGNANCY RELATED PAIN
Bursitis is inflammation or irritation to the bursa (small sacs between bone and other moving parts, such as skin, muscles and tendons). Tendonitis is inflammation or irritation of the tendon (thick fibrous cords that connects muscles to bone). Symptoms of bursitis and tendonitis are similar and include inflamed soft tissues that replicate symptoms of joint pain. With these conditions, pain and stiffness often intensifies with movement. Neither condition will cause deformity but can limit range of motion.
SCIATICA
When the neck is whipped from back to front, or side to side during a car accident, while playing contact sports or other physical trauma, a number of things can happen to the spine and the surrounding musculature. Even if the impact seems mild, it is important to have your spine checked by a Chiropractor as soon as possible so as to assess and prevent any long term injuries. Chiropractors are trained to correctly detect and diagnose injuries to the spine that are not easily detected on x-ray. Whiplash Symptoms: Neck Pain Shoulder pain Headaches Pain when turning head Inability to turn head fully Pain in upper or mid back Numbness or tingling in arms, hands or fingers Ringing in the ears

JOINT PAIN
Scoliosis is a condition in which a person's spine has an irregular curve. The curve is usually S- or C-shaped over three dimensions. In some, the degree of curve is stable, while in others, it increases over time. Mild scoliosis does not typically cause problems, but more severe cases can affect breathing and movement. Pain is usually present in adults, and can worsen with age. As the condition progresses, it may alter a person's life, and hence can also be considered a disability.
SCOLIOSIS
Joint pain is discomfort that affects one or more joints in your body. A joint is where the ends of two or more of your bones come together. For example, your hip joint is where your thigh bone meets your pelvis. Joint discomfort is common and usually felt in your hands, feet, hips, knees or spine. Pain in your joints may be constant, or it can come and go. Sometimes, your joints can feel stiff, achy or sore. Some people complain of a burning, throbbing or “grating” sensation. In addition, your joints may feel stiff in the morning but loosen up and feel better with movement and activity. However, too much activity could make your pain worse. Joint pain may affect the function of your joints and can limit your ability to do basic tasks. Severe, painful joints can interfere with your quality of life. Treatment should focus not only on pain but on getting back to daily activities and living your life to the fullest.

I had Sciatica and my experience with Dr. Greene was amazing. She not only assisted with the severe pain, but she also educated me on what sciatica is and how I can prevent in the future.
She also took the time to show me a few stretches and exercises that should be done daily. She also assisted greatly with my carpel tunnel which I have had for over a decade and was unable to open anything on my own.
It has been months now and I am doing much better and no longer need assistance. And again she took the time and showed me some exercises for my wrist to avoid it happening again.
She is great at her job and is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Greene.
